Located on the third floor, the Fukuoka Literary Materials Room exhibits material of literary men, women and groups with ties to Fukuoka. Such ties may be in the form of being born, having moved to or having gone to school in Fukuoka. Material includes authored works, manuscripts, notes, irogami (colored paper) as well as photographs. Under collection also are the works and materials of recipients of the city of Fukuoka's Cultural and Literary Awards. You can also see the video "Fukuoka Bungaku Sanpo" ("A Walk through Literary Fukuoka" in Japanese) which intrduces the literary works of men and women with ties to Fukuoka. You can also inspect their original manuscripts.
